What Are Our Objectives?
The objectives of the Division are to:
- Promote communication and interaction among people interested in
dairy foods, government, and academia.
- Provide a nucleus within IFT for organizing symposia and
other programs for the dissemination of information to those
interested in dairy foods.
- Promote cooperative endeavors with other professional groups
such as the American Society for Microbiologists, the American Dairy
Science Association or any other body concerned with dairy foods
specifications for foods, economic and applied dairy food research,
dairy food hygiene, and other problem areas.
- Ensure that dairy foods are tudied as an integral and
essential component of food science and technology curricula.
