What Do We Do?
The Division sponsors symposia at the IFT Annual Meetings. Topics of
past symposia have covered a broad range, including:

The changing landscape of ice cream
Hispanic Dairy foods
Whey products and lactose
Sensory Evaluation of dairy foods
Dairy foods: More than just good nutrition
Dairy Ingredients: Past present and future
An annual business meeting of the Division is held during the IFT Annual
Meeting. Reports of the officers are presented, election results are
announced, and future plans and other items of business are discussed
with the members.
The Division publishes a newsletter three times per year,
providing an outlet for:
- Notice and reports of symposia, meetings, and printed materials
organized or issued by the Division or other groups.
- Rapid dissemination of research findings in the form of
abstracts of papers which have been submitted or accepted for
publication in scientific journals.
- Discussion and constructive criticism of methods, topics, and
problems of interest to those interested in diary foods.
