Professional Summary:
Dr. Jianrong Li received Ph.D. in Molecular Virology and Immunology from Zhejiang University, China. He received post-doc training in virology at University of Massachusetts Medical School and Harvard Medical School. Dr. Li joined the Department of Food Science and Technology at OSU in May 2008. He was recruited as part of the research initiative on Public Health Preparedness for Infectious Diseases and has a joint appointment with Division of Environmental Health Sciences, College of Public Health. Dr. Li is a principal investigator at OSU Center for RNA Biology. Dr. Li is also a member of OSU Center for Microbial Interface Biology.
