A Search for Excellence
The Ohio State University
has a strategic plan to invest in excellence.
Faculty members from six colleges have won a competitive award of $4.7 million
to implement a plan in Public Health Preparedness for Infectious Disease (PHPID). We will hire up to 12 key faculty members in priority
areas. We are pleased to announce the first wave of faculty search teams in
these important areas: Assistant or Associate

Food Animal Health
Research Program,
Assistant or Associate
Professor of Environmental Microbiology,
Environmental Health Sciences,
Associate Professor, Host-Pathogen Interactions, Center for Microbial Interface Biology and the Department of Microbiology, Columbus, Ohio. A tenure-track faculty position. The successful candidate will establish an independent research program focused on microbial pathogenesis, the host response to microbes, or experimental therapeutics and vaccines.
