Get Connected via VPN to Food Science

If this does not work on first try, think about spending quality time with your friends and family.

• Turn on your PC
• Go to Start, Settings, Network Connections

 

• From the left panel, click Create a new connection this window will pop-up
• Click the NEXT button to the above window, and choose Connect to the network at my workplace option and click NEXT.

 

• Select the Virtual Private Connection option and click NEXT

• In the Company Name field type in any name, this will be the name of your connection. E.g : - food or work, etc…. and click NEXT

• In the Host name or IP address field type in 164.107.52.30 and click NEXT

 

• Create this connection for: choose Anyone’s use click NEXT

• After you click FINISH, this window will pop-up

 

• Click Properties and choose the Options tab

• Under the Options tab check the “Include Windows logon domain” and click OK. This will bring you back to main login window.
  Under that enter your foodscience username and password and click CONNECT.
• If connected successfully you have the TV icon at the right bottom of your taskbar.

• Right Click on the network icon on the taskbar to see the Disconnect / Status / Open Network popup menu.  If you click on Status you will see something like this:

• You are now connected to the FOODSCIENCE domain as if you were in the building. 
• When you are ready to quit, Click Disconnect to exit the connection or just shut down your local PC.
