Key Issues:
  Program Assistant - Jane Erbe decided against returning to FIC after her maternity leave period expired
   
 
Visits/Visitors/Meetings / Outreach:
  Visited the Agricultural Business Enhancement Center, presently being refurbished, in Bowling Green.
   
  Visited both ACEnet (Athens) as well as the Regional Food Center (Logan).  The objectives of these visits were to discuss future cooperation, especially with recommending prospective clients to the most appropriate center.
   
  EARTH University (Costa Rica) - Facilitated, on behalf of International Program in Agriculture, the visit of two of the university's technical staff.  Reviewed and discussed, in great detail, their draft proposals for future PP extensions.
   
  SFA - Jointly with CIFT and faculty members, started planning of a QA short course, to be held the 2nd week in September, 2005.
 
Pilot Plant Classes:
  Both PPs were fully utilized by the following classes: FST 401, 636, 649 & 650.
 
 

 
 

General:

  Received 6 technical service inquiries
  There were 10 Food Safety Hotline Calls
