Sam Parthasarathy's curriculum vitae

Dr. Sampath Parthasarathy is an internationally acclaimed biochemist with special expertise in antioxidants, macrophage biology, and lipid/protein metabolism. He currently holds joint appointments as the Klassen Chair in Cardiothoracic Surgery and Professor of Surgery at The Ohio State University. Dr. Parthasarathy received his Bachelor and Master of Science from the University of Madras, India, and his Ph.D from the Indian Institute of Science. He is a member of the editorial boards of the Journal of Lipid Research, Biochimica et Biophysica Acta, Antioxidants & Redox Signaling, General Pharmacology, Free Radicals in Biology and Medicine, and the Journal of Medicinal Food. His research focus is oxidative stress and diseases, including reproductive diseases.
