Jill Eversole Nolan, Associate Professor at The Ohio State University, holds an administrative position with Ohio State University Extension. She gives statewide leadership to the Family and Consumer Sciences program focusing on “healthy people, healthy finances and healthy relationships”. She monitors new funding opportunities for OSU Extension programming in Family and Consumer Sciences and cultivates new university partnerships to maximize outreach and engagement. Her Bachelor and Master’s degree are in the area of Human Ecology from The Ohio State University and Pennsylvania State University, respectively. Her PhD from OSU focused on housing options for the aging population in rural America. She has authored many scholarly and creative works on quality of life issues of older adults. In the early-90s she gave leadership in establishing an aging network in Ohio called Senior Series in partnership with OSU and Ohio Department of Aging to collaborate in research and outreach. This aging network still remains as an active collaborative effort servicing the aging population throughout Ohio. Dr. Nolan continues to publish and teach in the aging field.
