Dr. Chureeporn was educated at Chulalongkorn University and Mahidol University in Bangkok, Thailand in both nursing and nutrition before coming to The Ohio State University to study Biochemistry Nutrition, ultimately receiving her Ph.D. She has since worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Mark Failla’s laboratory in the Department of Human Nutrition at OSU, but still remains very involved in professional organizations and agencies in Thailand. Her current research focuses on the bioavailability and molecular function of bioactive compounds (nutrients and non-nutrients).
