Congratulations to Lynn Knipe, Mary Kay Pohlschneider and FST student Jacob Farr who were recently honored at the Office of Student Life - University Housing Award Ceremony. Dr. Knipe and Jacob hosted a Grain Fed Versus Grass Fed Steak Dinner program in Norton which has been selected as an Outstanding Faculty Program award recipient for 2012-2013. Dr.

Congratulations to Professor Denny Heldman who is this year’s winner of the Institute of Food Technologists Carl R. Fellers Achievement Award. He will be honored at the Chicago IFT meeting this June 2013. This award honors a member of IFT and Phi Tau Sigma who has brought honor and recognition to the profession of food science and technology through a distinguished career in that profession displaying exemplary leadership, service and communication skills that enhance the effectiveness of all food scientists in serving society.
